Yvonne Zacharias is an experienced journalist, having worked in five newsrooms in Canada. She is fluent in French and English, having a Bachelor's degree with a French major and English minor, and a TESL certificate with practicum from UBC. She has experience teaching the SAT, SSAT and ISEE and has taught journalism at Concordia University in Montreal. Yvonne also works as a freelance writer and is completing the first draft of a novel. She is passionate about giving her students the best learning experience possible.
Recognizing that learning styles can vary widely among students, she believes teaching must be tailored to meet the needs of each one. She would also be pleased to share her extensive knowledge of English literature and her writing expertise with students who are interested in pursuing those paths of learning.
