Julie Gill has taught social sciences courses in post-secondary institutions in Canada and the UK for eight years. She has a doctoral degree in International Development Studies, and she conducts qualitative research on education outcomes in countries around the world. She inspires young learners to engage with global issues through the study of Social Studies, History, Geography, and English. She works with high school and university students to improve their confidence and skills in academic reading and writing skills, presentations, public speaking, and creative writing. She tailors her teaching and learning strategies to the needs and interests of individual learners, and engages learners by asking them to apply their knowledge to the world around them.
