Geography& Intro:
Vancouver, located in British Columbia, Canada, southwestern Pacific coast, is one of the major and the biggest port in Canada. Vancouver’s natural environment is popular with tourists, making tourism becomes the second largest economic pillar in the city. Vancouver is surrounded by mountains and sea. This city has been rated as one of the most liveable cities in the world for many years. The Greater Vancouver region has a population of 2.46 million. The internal population ranks eighth in the country.

Culture& History:
The aboriginal people were the earliest residents of Vancouver, who lived earlier than the Europeans. The city was named after the British captain George Vancouver who arrived here in 1792. Withthe completion of the nineteenth-century Fraser River Gold Rush and the construction of the Trans-Canada Railway, Vancouver has developed rapidly and its population has grown rapidly. In the 1880s, Chinese immigrants have flocked to the west coast of Canada. Vancouver becomes a multi-cultural city.

Vancouver is the media center in BC, and most national media have offices there.There are also several free newspapers in the city.The ethnic diversity of Vancouver has also created a vibrant multicultural media in the city.
Vancouver also has a highly developed film production industry, which is the third-largest film producer center after Los Angels and New York in North America. It knows as the “North Hollywood”.

Vancouver has a mild climate throughout the year and is a temperate maritime climate. The summer temperature is generally around 20 °C, and the winter temperature is above 0 °C. Vancouver is rainy all the time.

Vancouver is a major tourist destination with a pleasant view. attractions in the Greater Vancouver area include: the Lions Gate Bridge , Canada Place, Grouse, Capilano Suspension Bridge , Granville Island , Gastown and Chinatownand Whistler etc.
