Greenwood College School is a coeducational independent day school on Mount Pleasant Road in Toronto. It opened in 2002 with 72 students and now has about 500 students in Grades 7 to 12 and a 7:1 student–teacher ratio. Each student is paired with an adviser, and the senior program offers enriched courses, reach-ahead credits, AP exam preparation in subjects such as calculus and computer science, and a Grade 11 co-op placement. Outdoor education and service learning are a regular part of school life. The main entry points are Grades 7 and 9. Admission uses the Character Skills Snapshot rather than the SSAT. International students may apply if their English is at a first-language level, as there is no ESL support or boarding.
