Randolph-Macon Academy

Front Royal, Virginia · Day and boarding · Co-ed · Grades 8–12, PG

Randolph-Macon Academy, founded in 1892 in Front Royal, Virginia, is a co-educational boarding and day school for grades 8–12 with a postgraduate option. It pairs a university-preparatory curriculum with military values, and students take part in leadership roles in the cadet structure; the school also runs a flight program in which some students earn pilot certifications. Admission is rolling, with entry possible at the start of the year or at mid-year points such as the second quarter, J-Term and second semester. Tuition is prorated for mid-year entry, and international students have a separate tuition schedule. International applicants submit English test results, school records from the last three years, a financial statement and, once admitted, a U.S. guardian agreement.
