The York School

The York School is a coeducational independent day school in midtown Toronto, founded in 1965, serving Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12 across two campuses in three divisions. It is an accredited IB World School offering the Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma programmes, and it also runs a school-designed Personalized Pathway option. Admission is considered for JK through Grade 11. Applicants for Grades 7 to 11 write a shared literacy and numeracy assessment used by York, Crescent School and Royal St. George's College. International families apply through the same process and pay the same tuition, but the school offers no boarding, homestay or English-language-learner support.
