Woodberry Forest School is an all-boys, all-boarding school for grades 9–12 in central Virginia, roughly 90 minutes from Washington, DC and Richmond. All of its approximately 400 students live on a 1,200-acre campus along the Rapidan River, and 95% of faculty reside on campus. The school operates a student-run honor system that dates back over a century and charges no activity or sports fees. Admission offers December, March and rolling decision rounds; testing is optional, with a writing sample and math assessment requested from those not submitting scores, and non-native English speakers submit TOEFL, Duolingo or IELTS. Students come from more than 20 countries.
