York House School is an independent day school for girls in Vancouver, British Columbia, founded in 1932 by a group of seven women. It enrolls about 700 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12 across its Little, Junior and Senior Schools and operates on two campuses. The school offers no boarding. Its programs include Global Online Academy courses, outdoor education, work-integrated learning and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. Main admission points are JK, SK, Grade 5 and Grade 8, and applicants complete a grade-specific assessment and, where applicable, an interview. Applicants and at least one parent must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents, and the school offers no boarding or homestay.
